In 2006 Michael's adaptation of George Orwell's novel 1984 opened at the Actor's Gang Theater in Los Angeles, California. The production, directed by Artistic Director Tim Robbins, has since had two extended runs in LA, and has toured to 40 of the United States, as well as Europe, Asia, Australia, and in Spring 2012 will tour South America.
