Velina Brown is a veteran Bay Area actor, and a long time member of SAG, AFTRA, and Equity - where she served for five years on the Bay Area Advisory Committee. Her work has been seen at the American Conservatory Theatre, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, The Denver Theatre Center, the Magic, Eureka, and Lorraine Hansberry Theatres among others, and she is a veteran company member of the Tony award winning San Francisco Mime Troupe. She's performed at The Kennedy Center, off-Broadway, on several national tours, and internationally in Asia and Europe. Her television credits include episodes of Party of Five, Nash Bridges, the film for TV Shaughnessy, and the Disney Channel movie Under Wraps. She has several voice over credits, commercials, and her film credits include METRO, SNEAKERS, MAD CITY, ED TV, and she is currently awaiting the release of her most recent films, BEE SEASON, with Richard Gere, and the independant film, MALADAPTIVE.
